The one and only. Great restaurant and amazing food! Recommend making reservations ahead of time for busy hours. Ebisu Japanese Tavern is the best.
Amazing atmosphere, So humble and professional service. Great food list with reasonable price. One of my absolute favorite of all time.
Love this place. Delicious food for good prices. Also the staff is friendly, warm and accommodating. The seafood pasta with the pink sauce is my favorite. My partner still talks about their legendary wok crab.
Had a friend come into town and asked me to take him here again. The bill was fair for the quality of food. they have a Cool backroom bar with a lay back atmosphere to it
A working man's Japanese restaurant. The food is good but not great. It was possible to get seated in the busy restaurant at prime time on a Saturday night, which says a lot in crowded Little Tokyo. Extensive menu. Tasty crab croquettes. The broiled yellowtail collar had great flavor, but didn't melt in the mouth as I've had in the past at other places. The service was good with a brilliant button at the table to call the server. They always appeared instantly when the button was pressed, which eliminated the need for wait staff to hover annoyingly.
This is our to-go place during our stay in LA. My wife and I used to come here almost every weekend with our friends. They serve authentic Japanese food and drinks. My favorite food was oyakodon, kaisen chirashi don, and set lunch menu. The price is affordable. Some people say they don’t like the taste, but probably this place serves “authentic†Japanese food. If you’re in the area and looking for a read Japanese food, this is a must place!
Fantastic food and sushi. Staff was also very good
I visited before. This time, food was cold. It was good before. Maybe it was too busy today..
Ebisu Japanese Tavern is one of my favorite Japanese restaurants in Los Angeles. The food is always fresh and delicious. They have a very good selection of sakes, and I love sake. This is authneric food and the service is always agreeable. I come here with my friends and we always have a good time on Friday evenings.
It would be good if it's in someplace in northridge, but it pales comparison to other offerings in little Tokyo
